Scatter Kindness!

Hello, friends!
I am back on the last day of this month with a fun creation! And I am happy that able to participate some more challenges :)D

Today I am representing a card using Winnie & Walter - Kindness with Evelin T Designs stamp set in summery and cool colors. I opted the color combo from Winnie & Walter Color Combo Challenge for July month Return challenge. I love this set with so many beautiful shaped trees, a lot of space to color. And love such bold sentiment to match and made own sentiments too. How versatile!!!!

And this is my take on the fun sketch from July at Stamploration!

First of all, I die cut a watercolor CS with double running stitching texture die. Then I started by stamping the trees with a lot of masking and created a beautiful forest scene with scattered leaves and some hand-colored grasses! And my Misti help me a lot!
I love watercoloring, so used my distress inks and water brushes.

I am inspired by gold glittery touch on Shay's gorgeous creation with such beautiful array of trees! You can just click on her name and see her gorgeous card. I stamped the bold sentiment on a vellum and heat embossed it with gold glitter and fussy cut it! Adhered it using clear gel tacky glue Then stamped the matching sentiment in Black Archival ink!

For my card base, I choose a little textured white CS and at the bottom, I created a cross stitch border textures and slightly cut it to create more dimension and interest! Then Blended my distress ink on all the edges!
Some golden thread and sequins finished the card!

Hope you enjoyed my creation!
Happy ending July!

Birthday Balloon girl

Hello, crafty people!

Casology is celebrating its 5th Birthday Party and I love the opportunity to participate in this fun Birthday hop with a beautiful theme "Balloons". I am so much inspired with various creations by all talented Designers!!!

So here is my card!

I decided to paint this sweet balloon girl from Unity having a lot of water colouring space!
I stamped the image in soft pink shadow ink from Hero arts. Because I want the whole image in ombre look effect.

I have used my Zig Brush markers. Mix the little bit of pearl shimmer in the water to colour her skirt. And created a light pink shadow underneath the image. For ombre look, I used 3 different shades. The transparent watercolours really standing out so well!

While stamping the sentiment, the ink got a little smudge. So I got a cute idea 😊
I heat embossed the sentiment again on a vellum sheet as shown in the picture with two tone ombre effect.

Look at the ombre embossing effect on the vellum, how pretty it is! After placing the vellum sentiment in the same place, it is impacting the shadow look of underneath sentiment!

At My card base panel, I roughly watercolored some stripes in ombre style along the right side edge of the card! And Adhered my panel using foam dots. And dressed up it with some cute tiny hearts!

A closer look of Pearl shimmer!

Thanks for stopping by and Have a good day! Hope you enjoyed this creation!

Because I Care

Hello friends!

Here is my fun card in summer warm colors!

First of all, I did some distress color wash on a watercolor cardstock and die cut some trendy blooms. I dressed it up using my new Double running stitch rectangle die and die cut 3 circles too from the black CS.

Using Friendship subway art message stamp, I stamped some of the parts only by masking technique at the side panel of the card in Versamark embossing ink and heat embossed with clear gloss embossed powder to give the card a shiny-matte effect!
Love the texture and dimension, this added just the right touch, awesome result!

Now added fun foam I adhered this piece to my card base. To make it shaker I added matching tulle to all 3 blooms and filled the circle with fun sequins and adhered all 3 blooms.
And added a label Because I Care sentiment using from the Pocket bloom set. Simply added tiny half pearls for finishing touch.

Here is the fun with inside:

I hope you enjoyed today's post and inspire you to try the techniques I used!

Miniature plants in Hexagon shelves!

Hello, friends!

Last week I was searching Pinterest and came across with some Hexagon shelves. And turning one of the ideas to my Hexagon wall art card! I wanted something that would add texture, warmth and angles with 3D dimensional art pieces. So here it is:

I always looking for new ways to work and this time I tried stamping on acetate sheet!

To stamp the image on acetate I used StazOn Black ink (as it dries quickly and won't rub off) and used the Misti for perfect stamping. Then I colored my image using acrylic pearl colors as they also dry quickly and colored them from back side(as shown in small pot pic)

I fussy cut both the image and with my heat tool start to make my plastic little shrink for textures. It will twist and curl on all directions.... but don't panic!

Die cut lot of hexagons in different sizes out of white, black cardstocks and foam sheets.
Continue glueing and layering like this until your Hexagon shelf is a deep as you would like it to be! I added 3 layers of white foam and 4 layers of white CS and like this, all steps are done for other two.

Now filled my shelves with miniature plants and tiny books using pop dots (books are also handmade using the smallest rectangle die and added every page inside with Tacky tape) added washi tape to bind the cover, Less is more!  Added Sakura Gelly Roll pen in gold along the book side edges. Added a strip of clear scoring tape at the bottom and burnished the steel gray glitter on it!

And here is the finished card, To me, the combination of larger shelf and two smaller looks like a perfect little family on the wall! And stamped the sentiment with a little shadow of grey lines!

Hope you all enjoyed this beautiful creation!

Supply list:
Cardstocks: Supreme white and Textured black in 300 gsm
Foam sheets: White and black; Acetate sheet
Stamp: Plants from Jane's Doodles

Magical Mer-maid friends in action!!!

Hello, all!

Are you all ready for the fun style interactive magnetic card in action!!!!!!
Who doesn't love the technique that seems magical? Today I will show you how I created my moving Mer-maid friends!!!

"Make a wish and hold on tight
There's  magic in the air tonight
And anything can happen........!"

I made a Birthday card for a very special friend and she is fond of Mermaids. So I decided to play with Mudra's latest fun Mermaid stamp set having such cute sentiments, pretty images and some more cute sea creatures, plants too!

I stamped the mermaid images and all other sea images in Black Archival ink on a white Bielo smooth white watercolor CS. Then used my Zig markers to watercolor them all. Fussy cut them all and I decorated the mermaid body and tail with some different colors and sizes sequins Isn't the mermaids looking gorgeous!!!

I showed in a pic how I placed my magnet at the backside.

Now for my card base panel, I used my Tonic trimmer and cut a heavy white CS.   Embossed the edges of my card base. Using Big Splash Border and stitched scallop edges, die cut more panels to create the scene. My base is blended with some distress inks. The middle layer is also blended with distress inks and then misted with water. And the top layer is blended with Copics and Promarkers to create the underwater scene. I die cut some sea grass too using ink smooshing technique. Die cut the sun too!

I popped up the middle layer using 3 layers of white foam because I wanted more depth and then adhered the first layer.

Now for the interactive magic mermaids, I wanted their movement to look like 3D effects. So I went with magnetic technique. I placed a magnet on all my 3 mermaids at their backside and placed one magnet under the shell too. You can move the magnet around inside the card easily to play with those pretty mermaids in action!

Now I stamped the fun sentiments using black archival ink. For more fun and textures I embellished my underwater scene with some real sea shells, plastic starfishes!
I created the matching scene inside too to play with my fun mermaid friends!
